Principal Digital Sovereignty Specialist Solutions Architect, Sovereign Cloud, Sovereign Cloud

This role is based in Zurich, Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

• Shape sovereign cloud market standards and establish AWS as a leader in sovereign cloud solutions.
• Lead engagements with federal agencies and regulators to influence market-defining frameworks.
• Design solutions for digital sovereignty challenges requiring innovative approaches.
• Coordinate across multiple organizations to unblock customer paths to production.
• Contribute to industry discourse through content creation and speaking engagements.

Basic Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in technical roles with progression to strategic leadership.
• Proven ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Deep experience in architecting complex solutions on AWS.
• Expert-level presentation skills.
• Track record of shaping industry standards and regulatory frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
• Extensive experience in technical leadership roles within sales or consulting.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services, particularly in security and compliance.
• Experience with accreditation processes and security frameworks.
