Mechanical Engineering Manager

Description

Amazon is developing robotic end of arm tooling (EOAT) for distribution and fulfillment centers — work that has no existing commercial solution. We are looking for a hardware development manager to lead the mechanical engineering team responsible for designing these systems. In this role, you will own the mechanical design of EOAT used across a variety of tasks, guiding your team through complex challenges in mechanisms, actuation, motor design, kinematics, and structural analysis. You will set technical direction, grow your team, and collaborate closely with electrical, software, sensor, safety, manufacturing, and deployment partners to bring new tooling from concept to production.
