Compensation:
$129,300 to $223,600 per year
Responsibilities:
- Develop and integrate telemetry systems for real-time monitoring of laboratory software and hardware.
- Ensure availability and consistency of logs, metrics, and traces.
- Collaborate with science teams to create visualizations from observability data.
- Utilize infrastructure-as-code for continuous deployment of software improvements.
- Mentor and document contributions for team members.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, Bash, or Perl.
- Full-stack web development experience.
- Familiarity with observability tools like OpenTelemetry and Grafana.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a research environment with scientists.
- Knowledge of AWS tools and services.
- Background in experimental physics or quantum computing.
