Inside Plant Cabling Quality Assurance Engineer, DCC Communities, DCC Communities

This role is based in Melbourne, VIC, AUS.

Responsibilities:

- Drive quality in AWS data centers, focusing on fiber optic and cabling systems.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to establish design standards and best practices.

- Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with standards.

- Provide training to Infra Delivery Teams on design compliance.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in IT or Telecommunications preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in structured cabling or data center environments.
• Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling installation standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of relevant ANSI/TIA standards.
• Experience with QA inspections in data centers.
• Strong communication skills to interface with contractors and engineers.
