Front End Engineer II, Integrated Video Experience

This role is based in Seattle, WA.

Compensation:

$129,300 - $223,600/year

Responsibilities:

• Develop interactive video features like closed captions and clickable jump links.
• Work on both front-end and back-end systems for seamless video streaming.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to enhance user engagement.
• Optimize inline playback capabilities for continuous video engagement.
• Implement instrumentation to measure video engagement metrics.
• Ensure platform performance and scalability.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional front-end development experience using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• 2+ years of experience in computer science fundamentals.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience with agile software development methodologies.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like TypeScript and Node.
