Embedded Firmware QA Engineer, eero QA

This role is based in Los Gatos, CA and Seattle, WA.

Compensation:

Salary ranges from $113,900 to $185,000 annually.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct black and gray box testing on embedded software.
• Develop and execute test plans for complete code coverage.
• Provide detailed bug reports using JIRA.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to debug issues.
• Maintain test beds and hardware.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer or Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years in Quality Assurance, with 3+ years in embedded firmware testing.
• Experience with Unix/Linux and networking protocols.
• Ability to leverage AI for automation and debugging.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with consumer networking hardware.
• Proficiency in Python and Linux shell scripting.
• Experience with mobile app testing and cloud APIs.
