DevOps Engineer (Linux), Region Services

This role is based in London, GBR.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with multiple development teams to reliably deliver AWS services into production environments. Create and improve processes for releasing, monitoring, and patching services. Identify issues and drive solutions to ensure stability and performance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or relevant work experience
• Working knowledge of Linux system administration
• Experience of systems automation using BASH, Python, Perl, etc.
• Good troubleshooting skills at all levels, from application to network to host

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to cloud computing concepts and design considerations
• Experience in a production environment
• Experience of monitoring frameworks (such as CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, Elastic or similar)
