Compensation:

109,100.00 - 182,200.00 CAD annually

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand and frame business problems as science problems.
  • Perform data analysis and build data pipelines to drive business decisions.
  • Invent novel science solutions, develop prototypes, and deploy production software.
  • Review and guide science solutions across the team.
  • Publish and socialize research across Amazon and external avenues.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of data scientist experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL) and scripting languages (e.g., Python).
  • 3+ years of experience with machine learning/statistical modeling tools.
  • 1+ years of experience working with AI systems.
  • Master's degree in STEM or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts and their applications.
  • Experience in Python or another scripting language.
  • Experience in a ML or data scientist role at a large tech company.
  • Experience applying quantitative analysis to solve business problems.
