Data Scientist II, Amazon Private Brands

This role is based in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Compensation:

109,100.00 - 182,200.00 CAD annually

Responsibilities:

• Partner with stakeholders to identify and frame business problems as science problems.
• Perform data analysis and build data pipelines to inform decisions.
• Invent and prototype novel science solutions, deploying production software.
• Review and guide team science solutions, publishing research findings.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of data scientist experience.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL, Python, or statistical software.
• 1+ years of experience with AI systems.
• Master's degree in STEM or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of machine learning concepts.
• Experience in a large tech company.
• Strong communication skills for complex concepts.
