Data Scientist II, Amazon Private Brands

This role is based in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Compensation:

109,100 - 182,200 CAD annually

Responsibilities:

• Partner with stakeholders to frame business problems as science problems.
• Perform data analysis and build data pipelines.
• Invent and deploy novel science solutions.
• Review and guide science solutions across the team.
• Publish research findings internally and externally.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of data scientist experience.
• 3+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL) and scripting languages (e.g., Python).
• 3+ years of experience with machine learning and statistical modeling.
• 1+ years of experience with AI systems.
• Master's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of machine learning concepts.
• Experience in a large technology company.
• Experience on cross-disciplinary projects.
• Strong communication skills.
