Data Engineer III , Sustainability Technology

This role is based in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Compensation:

135,700.00 - 226,500.00 CAD annually

Responsibilities:

Mentor and lead engineers, define team priorities, collaborate globally, and build data systems for customer carbon footprint tools.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of data engineering or related experience
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices
• Experience with Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
• Familiarity with AWS tech stack (e.g., Redshift, S3)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
• Knowledge of carbon accounting protocols
