Books supply chain advisor (書籍事業部 流通支援アドバイザー), EIS, Enhanced Instock Service

This role is based in Tokyo, Japan.

Responsibilities:

Own inventory strategies to maximize sales, margin, and turns. Collaborate with publishers to improve selection and inventory availability, and deliver supply chain efficiencies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
• 2+ years of professional experience
• Native Japanese or JPLT N1/N2 and business level English
• Basic MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Analytical skills to extract insights from raw data

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in business planning or supply chain
• Experience in the publishing industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma
