Senior Staff Data Engineer, Marketplaces DNA

This position is US - Remote Eligible, with occasional work at an Airbnb office.

Compensation:

$244,000 — $305,000 USD

Responsibilities:

• Own critical data including Users, Listings, and Marketplaces.
• Develop and automate high-performance data processing systems.
• Collaborate with infra teams to enhance scalability and efficiency.
• Design foundational data models and advocate for high-quality engineering practices.

Requirements:

• 12+ years of relevant experience with a degree in CS/EE or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with Java/Scala/Spark.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams.
