Senior Frontend Engineer, Payments

This role is based in Bangalore, India.

Compensation:

₹4,500,000 — ₹6,500,000 INR/year

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and refine payments features for Airbnb on the web.
• Collaborate with engineers from product teams to build scalable solutions.
• Drive investments into new technical capabilities for product innovation.
• Identify and improve product development pain points.
• Contribute to the team’s technical strategy and mentor peers.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in developing consumer web applications.
• Expertise in Javascript/Typescript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
• Experience with modern JavaScript libraries (e.g., React).
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Passion for UI and Motion animation development.
• [Bonus] Experience with Figma and knowledge of PCI DSS compliance.
