Manager, Engineering – Payments (Tooling)

This role is based in Bangalore, India.

Compensation:

₹6,600,000 — ₹9,400,000 INR/year

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Payments Operational Tooling team to develop and maintain web-based tools and backend services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in the US to align strategies and technical directions.
• Enhance team culture and communication, and represent the team in leadership meetings.
• Recruit and mentor engineers to build a strong engineering team.

Requirements:

• BS, MS or Ph.D. in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of engineering experience with 4+ years in technical management.
• Experience in building payments systems and managing global teams.
• Strong coding abilities and experience with service-oriented architecture.
