Manager, Engineering, Guest & Host

This role is based in Bangalore, India.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the team in developing operational tooling and API integrations.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to shape strategies and technical directions.
• Recruit and build a team of engineers, fostering a culture of craftsmanship.
• Represent the Cities team in leadership meetings.
• Improve collaboration and communication within the team.
• Travel internationally as needed to enhance collaboration.

Requirements:

• BS, MS, or Ph.D. in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience with 4+ years in technical management.
• Strong coding abilities and experience with large-scale applications.
• Experience in service-oriented architecture and building highly available services.
• Track record in partnering with recruiting to build effective engineering teams.
