Engineering Manager, Data Frameworks

This position is US - Remote Eligible, with occasional work at an Airbnb office.

Compensation:

$204,000 — $255,000 USD per year

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of software engineers building core data platform capabilities.
• Define and execute a multi-year vision for data production and consumption.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve data reliability.
• Mentor team members and foster a culture of curiosity and ownership.

Requirements:

• 9+ years of software development experience, with 3-5+ years managing a team.
• Experience with distributed systems and application-layer APIs.
• Proficiency in technologies such as Apache Kafka, GraphQL, Apache Flink, and Apache Spark.
