Data Scientist (Contractor), Economics & Policy

This position is remote eligible within the United States.

Compensation:

$140-$150/hour

Responsibilities:

• Model and analyze regulatory impact
• Support statistical models and machine learning algorithms
• Assist in data collection and preparation
• Write clear, well-documented code
• Create visualizations to convey findings
• Prepare research summaries and presentations

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or related field (PhD preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in data modeling & analysis
• Proficient in R/Python, SQL, and data visualization tools
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
• Experience with causal inference techniques
• Exposure to policy and economics domains
