Privacy Program Manager

This role is based in Dublin.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish, maintain and evolve Pinterest’s privacy program, policies and practices
  • Conduct privacy risk assessments for new and existing features
  • Support teams on privacy-by-design, data minimization and responsible data use
  • Support privacy incident response: investigations, mitigation steps and regulatory notifications
  • Monitor compliance and develop audit plans to identify and fix gaps
  • Maintain data inventories and records of processing activities
  • Work cross-functional across Legal, Engineering, Security, Product and other teams to integrate privacy requirements
  • Support responses to regulatory inquiries, privacy audits and internal assessments
  • Support Commercial Legal team in reviewing and negotiating DPA terms with third-party processors

Requirements:

  • Deep expertise in privacy and compliance or a related area, with strong knowledge of global privacy regulations including GDPR and CCPA
  • Expertise in program management and working on cross-functional projects
  • Experience in technology or digital media environments
  • Strong communicator with experience in translating complex privacy risks to non-legal audiences
  • Committed to continued learning and growth in privacy and data protection
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Law, Business or Information Security, or equivalent experience
  • Professional privacy certifications (such as CIPP or CIPM) are a plus

In-Office Requirement:

This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times per week.
