Senior Talent & Succession Program Manager

This role is based in San Francisco, with a hybrid work model of three days in the office per week.

Compensation:

$234K – $260K/year + Offers Equity

Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve OpenAI’s talent review approach.
  • Drive differentiation and talent decision quality.
  • Build bench and succession systems.
  • Define and maintain critical roles frameworks.
  • Translate strategy into usable systems.
  • Pilot, learn, and iterate quickly.
  • Partner deeply with HRBPs and People leaders.
  • Integrate closely with Performance & Rewards.
  • Design for scale and simplicity.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in talent management or HR.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing talent systems.
  • Strong understanding of talent management best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and talent management systems.
