Compensation:

$166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Review and develop secure operational practices, providing security guidance for engineers and support staff.
  • Identify vulnerabilities through design reviews and long-term engagements.
  • Respond to vulnerabilities with mitigations and hardening.
  • Focus on the security strategy for Google Cloud.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with security assessments or security design reviews.
  • 5 years of experience with security engineering and protocols.
  • 5 years of coding experience in one or more general purpose languages.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in a technical capacity or leading technical risk analysis.
  • Experience with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills.
