Compensation:

$174,000-$252,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze performance and efficiency metrics to identify bottlenecks.
  • Engage with Google product teams and researchers to solve performance problems.
  • Apply optimization techniques to improve model performance.
  • Analyze and debug performance issues.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
  • 3 years of experience with performance analysis and debugging.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
