This role is based in Reston, VA.

Compensation:

$147,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Security teams inside of Google and Partner and customer teams.
  • Develop operating system and hardware security features for products.
  • Design security solutions within the broader scope.
  • Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in C++, C, or Python.
  • 2 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
