About the job:

Join Google's Security team to create and maintain a secure operating environment. Responsibilities include monitoring systems for attacks, conducting security assessments, and collaborating with software engineers to fix security flaws.

Responsibilities:

  • Scope and deliver comprehensive security reviews of hardware/firmware components.
  • Perform AI-supported fuzzing campaigns on platform firmware.
  • Define automated security testing criteria for hardware in data centers.
  • Develop threat models and risk assessments for hardware products.
  • Design necessary security controls for identified threats.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in security assessments and security engineering.
  • 2 years of coding experience in general purpose languages.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in the security field.
