Product Manager I, YouTube XR, Gaming Discovery

Compensation:

$132,000-$189,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Identify high-impact opportunities using data to better match viewers with great gaming and XR content.
  • Define and execute on a new initiative to understand and recommend beloved gaming shorts.
  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for XR discovery.
  • Lead a revamp of the XR home feed and XR content recommendations.
  • Drive a regular cadence of experiments to grow XR engagement by improving content discovery.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • Experience with ML discovery or content recommendations systems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 1 year of experience in software development or engineering.
  • Experience with and interest in Gaming and XR.
  • Excellent data analysis and modeling skills.
