The Systems Engineer role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining Finance integrations and reports on oracle. The role is part of a team that builds and maintains the enterprise platform powering Airbnb's business operations; spanning finance, procurement, analytics, and internal tooling. While Oracle/Finance integrations are a core area, you'll also contribute to AI-assisted automation, and cross-functional systems that serve teams across the company.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design, build and manage integrations and micro services in Python.
• Design and build AI-assisted automations and MCP integrations to extend internal platform capabilities.
• Document the Designs and Runbooks and Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Share knowledge with other members in the team.
• Support the Application infrastructure including OCI and more.
• Understanding the requirements for different Oracle modules and coming up with solutions to review with the team and present to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Computer Science or Engineering
• 5+ years experience in  Python programming language.
• Experience in securing data; understands PGP, SSH, OAuth, HTTPS, SFTP
• Experience in building and supporting multiple integrations
• Hands-on experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) and AI agent integrations.
• Strong understanding of AI integration architecture and intelligent automation.
• Full life cycle implementation experience from requirements gathering/analysis to Go-Live and Post production support.
• Expert in GitHub and CI/CD.
• Experience with Relational and NoSQL databases including ability to write, review and suggest PL/SQL code optimization.
• Experience in publishing and consuming web services, and their governance and administration.
• Nice to have exposure in automations and end-to-end integrations using Oracle BIP ,Object storage and IAM/IDCS.
• Financial domain knowledge is an added advantage.
• Eager to take responsibility, accountability and ownership of systems and processes
• Enthusiastic about expanding AI capabilities while working with the team’s tools and platforms.
• Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.
